I love old, worn wallpapers and Tattered Roses is no exception. Here is the story of how Simply Shreds came about...
Recently I turned one of the original, untouched bedrooms in our house into my youngest son's room. I hated to strip the pretty yellow and pink roses from the wall. Sadly, the wallpaper was beyond my talent to repair it. And since our son prefers monster trucks and tractors to roses, I opted to take it down. As I started the daunting task of stripping the paper (which had been applied with cornstartch) from the walls, I realized some of the tattered, stainted and worn pieces might be perfect for grungy, feminine heritage layouts. There are 10 Shreds of wallpaper in this element pack. I also added both straight and looped twine stitches and tied ribbon with eyelets. Oh and I couldn't resist adding some those pretty yellow and pink roses too. There is also 1 background paper that is not included in the preview.
